This 496 Fuel Tank Filter is Designed for Use with Gasoline, Diesel or 20% Biodiesel (B20) Fuels
Installation
- Attach filter top cap to storage tank valve on opening marked “IN”
- Attach hose and nozzle to filter opening marked “OUT”
- When installing the element and bowl, apply a coating of oil to each side of gasket
- These components should be hand tightened only. Over tightening of the filter bowl will result in difficulty in removal at a later date
- When assembly is complete, check for leaks
